Default Difference between L92 engine and Ls3 engine

I own a 2005 gto with the ls2 and have an opprotunity to get a deal on a L92 6.2L engine. What are the differences between the L92 truck engine and the Ls3 found in the 2008 corvette. From what I can find on the net the truck engine is still an all aluminum block with a 10:5:1 compression ratio. Anyone know the cam specs and compression ration of both engines as I have been unable to find the hardcore specs on the internet. Also what needs to be change to put it in my 2005 gto. Thanks

Pistons are different. Also LS3 has the sodium filled valves and of course the intake manifolds are different. If its a good deal i would think twice and get the L92.

You're right, the L92's compression ratio is spec'd at 10.5:1 but the otherwise similar LS3's is 10.7:1.
Also I think the L92 has VVT and the LS3 does not?
Not sure of the other detailed differences but I know there are some.
