Difference between L92 engine and Ls3 engine I own a 2005 gto with the ls2 and have an opprotunity to get a deal on a L92 6.2L engine. What are the differences between the L92 truck engine and the Ls3 found in the 2008 corvette. From what I can find on the net the truck engine is still an all aluminum block with a 10:5:1 compression ratio. Anyone know the cam specs and compression ration of both engines as I have been unable to find the hardcore specs on the internet. Also what needs to be change to put it in my 2005 gto. Thanks

Also I think the L92 has VVT and the LS3 does not?
Not sure of the other detailed differences but I know there are some.
