I was considering one for a while. Looks like a good build, but I eventually went for and LS7 build.

Heard the LSX was about 3-6 weeks away from Robin in an other thread. I'm using a sleeved ls2 from RED for my 457.

We are holding out for the LSX block. Already ordered the build through LME though and it feels good to take the first step, now just to wait for the blocks to start trickling back out.

I don't mind waiting though, makes it feel like Christmas all over again.

Ugg, LME already has our money and the order sheet... which is basically a long block without the heads.

Interesting though, we got the new higher pricing on the block so the shortblock was $100 more (not really a big deal)...

Thank you very much Ron, but LME will also be doing the assembly of all the quirky things like clearancing the oil pan/pickup tube, etc...

Shoot...

TO many variables there. If you want an off the shelf engine TSP stocks a wide selection. If you want an engine built to your liking you have one built and dont by off the shelf. You save money on off the shelf
