Question FAST 92mm L92/LS3 Intake: When? Who would buy one?

as the title says..... who would buy one in the next 6 months?

edit: just got off the phone with a guy at FAST in the Tech Dept., he said they have a 92mm LS3/L92 intake in the works, but does not have an ETA, nor willing to give us concrete details {as I assume they dont like to disappoint}

Lookin forward to it!

It is all about results isn't it?

There is nothing wrong with a L76/LS3 that that a better manifold can cure-IF it makes better hp AND tq.

Not easy to fit longer runners under a Y bod hood.

You want more hp or torque, perhaps both?

Wink

This poll - in my humble opinion - needs an option that reads

"HELL YEAH I'd buy one, as long as it shows consistent 17-20+ HP gains over the L76, and in a workable RPM range (otherwise I probably couldn't justify spending the asking price)!"

But maybe that's just me...

These heads with the L76 intake make great RWT. I think shorter runners would help from 4500 up.

My $.02

Screw it, I live here in Memphis and there are a few guys in my car club that work at comp and can't even tell me when the FAST is supposed to be released for L92's, so who knows. I think the Weiand will be here very soon and will suit my needs just fine. I don't want to wait any longer than I have to, been waiting long enough as it is.

yeah...... 440tq at 3200rpm or so..... HP was under 465 and more than 420..... with 91kpa... need to get the intake worked on and feed the heads more air. I dont want to post the HP numbers until I get the bugs worked out. If you want you can PM me.

Ran 7.4X at the track tonight.... lost 2mph but went from a 7.67 (was running front runners at the time) down to the 7.4x with the smaller cam. My nitrous converter is too tight for motor.

60ft was 1.72 and the mph was 93 in the 8th with 28tall 17inch drag radials and 275/17's up front . It runs out of steam up top but has more down low on the motor. Feels faster on the street. This is with a non-SD tune.

I am thinking that with intake work I can gain another 20-40rwhp and when the new converter and kit goes on it should be a cake walk to go 5.9X or 6.2X in the 8th. T

Damn Art Carr converter only hits 3300-3400 on motor! Tight like frog vagina.

I know a fella that took the same converter out and went to a 4200 Neil Chance and went from a 7.8 to a 7.2.... so running 6.8-6.9 on motor would be pretty cool!
