Default L76 on L92..need advice

Finally got my L76 intake on my crate L92. Now, I need injectors, because the truck ones can not be swaped over (different size). Should I go for LS2 injectors? Or aftermarket ones? And do the aftermarket LS2 fuelrails fit? thanks for advice m

Your injector choice will be affected by fuel rail choice-- for fitment issues.

First decide what type of rail you are using. The mounting brackets (height short or long) will determine what style injector you will go with. Then pick your injector.

Finally, you may or may not need electrical adaptors for the injector.

the injectors will work they require a larger o ring thats all. I have done this before they are available from some sponsors on here. That way you can use your rails and wiring still.

This is good news.

Can I get the specifics on the o-rings?

I assume the stock truck style rails will not be re-used.

What I do not understand is that my L92 truck intake injectors are actually to big to fit into the L76 unit..?!? If I use O-rings they will not go far enough into the intake. Should I mod the inlet to made the injectors fit? thanks for advice.m

Is this true that truck injectors will not fit the L76 intake?

Guy's, this is not a new topic. Do a search. Read post #2.

You do not want to mess around with injectors or O-rings that don't fit, with fuel at 65psi!!!!!!!!!!

I know, it is not a brand new topic. But now I can say, that the L92 truck injectors can not be swapped into the L76 intake...And I still don`t know why. Anyway, new ones are on their way.

I'm going to try an aftermarket fuel rail with my truck injectors. I'll let you know the results.

I used LS2 Rails with LS2 #34 Injectors.. I had to shim the Rails up 1/2", haven't had any problem with leaks.
