What is the chamber size of the stock heads on Vortec 6.0 Engines?
Folks, I have a 2006 Escalade which came from factory with the Vortec 6.0L engine rated at 345HP. I am trying to find out what the cylinder head size of the stock chambers were. I have 72cc AFR heads now, but wondering if the stock heads were 62cc, 66cc or 72cc?
Anyone know?

Thanks so there were no other sizes?
I had heard rumors that the compression ratio in the Vortec engines varied and for the Escalade it was 10.0:1 not by having different pistons but by having smaller chambered heads. Is it safe to assume that was BS?
Also how can I find out which casting I had can I find out which casting I had, the 317 or 035?
Many thanks....

You can read the casting number on the top side of the heads near the valve cover rail.
The compression ratio difference between the LQ4 (low compression) vs. LQ9 (high compression) is the dish volume in the pistons. The chambers are the same size.
