Default where do you put O2 bung for LM1 ?

have a customer 2005 C6 here with stock exhaust system. I want to weld in a separate bung for the wideband but there is no space since the cats hook straight up to the cast iron headers. Need to tune up the supercharger it got.

where did you put you bungs, the only place I can think of would be on the cat inlet 2" before the core which is pretty hot for a sensor.

I think the customer ought to get headers to make
the most of the supercharger anyway. In this case
you would have many more options. Otherwise you
may have to put the bung further back (like at the
X) and depend on the narrowbands for low-throttle
stoich-target operation and the wideband for the
higher gas-flows where the cats can be expected
to have a small effect.

The prefered location is 8"-12" back from the joining of the 4 pipes into the collector.

I have always heard the drivers side of the X pipe due to the leanest cylinders 5 & 7. Tune from the leanest bank
