Default Need a LS3 MAP sensor part number

I have a LS3 intake off a 2008 corvette. The map sensor has been moved to the front like the ls2's BUT it has a bigger hole and is bolted down. The map sensors for LS's will not fit, at least not with out creative modification. I have tried to search and find the part number for the new sensor but have had NO luck in finding it.

Any help is appreciated.

Rick

If you change sensors you will have electrical connector problems as the connectors are different. So:
You can make up a "Z" type clip to hold the old MAP sensor with fatter o-ring
or use the new sensor and solder up the connector pins inside the sensor plug. part #12591290

Thanks for the info.
Can you explain what needs to be soldered, or was you just meaning to solder on a new plug that corresponds with the new Map sensor?

I just make up a jumper by soldering to the pins inside the sensor connector then fill with silicone.

The GM part number for the LS3 MAP sensor connector is 88988583

A builder of mine ran into the same situation and just wired in
the LS3 style wire connector from GM.

Hey guys, I'm doing a swap myself and I got a engine harness that was all chopped up from the junkyard and I use EFI Connection to get all my pigtails. They are way cheaper then GM and still have GM quality. A LS3 MAP sensor pigtail is 15.00 from this place.

Katech offers a conversion harness, a little pricey but no cutting or soldering. Plug and go.

Anyone have a place to get them? I have seen a few places online, Pace, GMPartsdirect.com, etc & average seems to be around $30 for a little connector. That is nuts.

Please also be aware that the LS3 MAP sensor is NOT a 1 bar sensor. In order to run it in an LS1 car, you will need an enhanced OS where you can adjust the MAP Linear to 128.13 and Offset to -0.31, which are numbers taken directly from a stock LS3 Camaro tune.

That said...when I set the offset to -0.31, the file wound up writing it to a 0 anyways as apparently the 2 bar OS from HPTuners can't accept a negative value there...but in my friends car running an LS3 MAP sensor, setting that to 0 with the correct linear, has resulted in acceptable MAP readings.
