If i were to change my intake i would look into the TPIS modded intake. You get your
cake and eat it too. They open the TB opening to 90mm and they make a few small
changes inside the intake, like removing the one support piece that sits right after the
TB opening. The intake was also independently tested by Lingenfelter. They ran a few test on a 427 LSx based motor. The TPIS intake and Fast intake make roughly the same hp & tq but the TPIS intake starts to show gains alittle earlier. And if you don't mind sending in your LS6 intake you wont get hit with the $500 core charge. So the intake
is only $350. Then all you would need is a TB. I installed one on a 2000 WS6 M6 that has
S2 heads, a B1 cam, plus Mac's and Borla. And after tweeking the tuning for the modded
intake you could definately feel the difference!!! It really kicks in hard as hell in the
midrange to over 6,500 rpm and without sacrificing low end torque. I was shocked that it
work that well.

i agree and would go with the TPIS since you have it. i would then wait to see what the street warrior makes... but imo, they shouldnt be compared since the street warrior is more low end where as the fast is for top end. depends on what you want in the long run.

402 Aluminum Block with Livernois Stage 3R heads, 230/236 .590/.600 114LSA cam. 1 3/4" equal length long tube headers, dual 2.5" exhaust with high flow cats.
I am swapping the old heads and cam for the ones listed above and I have the following choices for an intake (I have everything except for the Weiand lying around).
1. LS6
2. Ported LS2 with a 90MM TB
3. TPIS modified LS6 with a 90MM TB
4. Wait for the New Weiand
I KNOW that the Fast 90/Fast 92 is the best intake manifold ever designed for any motor ever (except for one that is ported by hand which improves on the un-improvable design ) but I prefer not to go that route.
I am sure this will go badly, but what would YOU choose?

My late vote is for the LS6!
I agree. Pro tuners/porters have told me the LS6 is much better than a ported LS2 and at least on par with the unported Fast without having to hack into the firewall on the C6 LS2. Of course, you'll get more gains with a ported Fast but only after spending a lot more money too.

I respectfully disagree with you, The LS6 hangs pretty close wuth a FAST until 6200 or so and then it fall off. That doesn't mean the FAST is a better bang for the buck but it WILL make a little more power on a car spinning a little higher.
The threads on here I really question are the stock guys claiming 10-15 with a FAST only. I guess they just feel they have to justify that $1000++++
Hell Honestly I had an LS6 IM in my kitchen and jumped on the used FAST 90/90 for $900... i spin to 6500 and could have been in a set of AFR's or TFS and made a lot more than I am doing:bang if that is where I put my money...: I will get there though
