God damn I'm tired of seeing people cry about heatsoak. They don't even realize heatsoak can only occur after there is no more free flowing air moving thru. So what does this tell us? That you will not see any heatsoak related issues if the car is moving. The air does not stay in the aluminum components long enough to be effected especially at WOT. You might see a slight heatsoak while at idle on a hot day in traffic but once you start moving agin their is cool fresh air moving into the motor.
The reason most people don't buy aluminum intakes is because so many people are scared of something they are not educated about, heatsoak. more people talk about it that have never even owned a aluminum intake than anything. Tuners don't like then b/c some people can get them installed correctly without vacuum leaks.
I have seen plenty of cars with aluminum intakes without have a single issue. Plus if your that worried about it while at the track you can toss a ice bag on it, but I wouldn't bother.

You are right on the money. I have a alluminum intake on my car. It spent hours on a dyno with no cool down time. No signs of lost power due to heat soak

You guys didn't hear? The TSP 100mm lid was kidnapped by Elvis with the weiand street warrior and fast 102mm intakes. I heard they're all hiding in hangar 18. Somebody mentioned something about a sasquach, so that could be a possible lead.
