Dyno #'s are a bit misleading because of the non lock-up trans but she made 536 rwhp and 636 rwtq on the dynojet. (hydraulic set up)
track times in the sig.
Impressive #'s by the way!
Would you care to share cam specs with us?
Thanks.

I'm just trying to put a nother L92 combo together with the BEST results that I can possibly get.
Thanks again to all who help/participate.
I'm happy with it.. I'm not as hard-core into it as you guys are..mine is just a street machine.
I pretty much got with Patrick G. and gave him my setup at the time and the intentions I had for it, and he gave me what he thought would be best. It's one of two Cams that I have seen on here that is a close-split Cam, and it's thrown down some decent times for what it is, I'm happy with it.

Whose rockers are you running with the solid roller?

Default Combo

I'm putting together a 414" 6.0 block/L92 combo together.

Eagle crank, rods, Wiseco pistons, solid roller with a carb setup. Waiting for Yella Terra to come out with their shaftrocker setup for the L92 before I buy rockers. Coming in at 12-1 and with the cam in the 250-260/.700 110 range I am thinking it will be good for 650-700 flywheel rather easily. Yella Terra's rockers are debuting at the PRI show in a couple weeks and should be available end of Dec/first of Jan to the public for @ $500-$600 according to them. Hope to have my motor done by then so I can get it dynoed and slapped in my MUSTANG

^^^LSx in Mustang?!?!?!?
I just love it. Keep us posted with the dyno numbers!
I personally would like to know what type of power/torque you are making with your set-up.
Yella Terra IS making a shaft-rocker set-up for a L92 head, huh?
Good...the price is not totally outrageous either.

Yeah, I know...funny huh? Been in the Mustang scene for 20 years, and just tired of building small block Fords, so, I had a rolling chassis laying around, and decided to do my first LSx build.

Yes, I spoke with Yella Terra last Thursday, and they said they are gonna debut their setup at the PRI show. And then it should be available to the public end of Dec first of Jan and should be in that $500-$600 range. I even asked him about the price, and I said "I kow you probaly don;'t have a price yet, and I would not hold a price to you, but do you have ANY idea about how much?" And he said, "oh yeah, we got pricing pretty much figured out and should be @ $550" I am still not gonna hold that price to him, but if it is anywhere near that price for a shaft setup, I am gonna be all over it.

DRE? New to the LSx scene, not sure who they are. Is it an adjustable rocker setup? If so, I would defintiley be interested in taking a look at it. Thanks

Not meaning to

sorry

They are a shaft mount system. Cost me around 1500. MUCH better that the T&D setup we first got. Like them better than the Jessel rockers as well. Not much clearance, had to take quite a bit of material off the valvecover area on the head but not too worried about it. The geometry is spot on.

That's more than I really want to spend on Rockers. I am sure it is a quality piece, but I just can not justify spending that type of $$$ on a freakn rocker arm. If I was running a boatload of spring pressure, and looking for every last .10th of horsepower, I would man up and spend the money. But for a "budget" motor that I am putting together, not going to spend MORE money on a rocker arm than I have in my entire rotating assembly (Wiseco Pistons and Eagle crank and rods COMBINED) And if you look at the $2000 Jesel wants, I bought my new block $700, Crank $700, Rods $500 and Pistons $500 for almost that. A whole shortblock for almost a rocker arm

This is in NO way thrashing Jesel, DRE, T&D as I know they make a fantastic product (at least Jesel and T&D). Just pointing out that it is too much money for a simple motor Im putting together.

ALL torqu/horsepower figures cross at 5250 RPM. No matter what engine, how radical, how stock, whatever...

Mine is in the sig and here is the graph. I went for maximum street fun and not max ET for the strip. It looks stock and is extremely quiet, with 4 Magnaflow mufflers and stock 275 width Nitto DR's, and it is fantastic on the street. It hooks up great and got 17 mpg driving like Grandma from stoplight to stoplight on the last tank.

When better intakes come out, we should be able to cam the **** out of these things and get way more power like pwebbz28 has with his [i assume carb] setup.

Sorry that was too much info. but the heads have plenty of potential. Go get a set !
