Default Who has Hi-power L92 build-up?

Just wanted to know what you guys that are making 600 plus hp are running for compression and cam specs. I am researching a few L92 based builds with 6.0L iron blocks and L92 blocks as well. Please, do chime in if you have dyno proven combinations. Thanks

I take it this was with the L92 block, right? Ported heads?

A 6.0L iron block will take a .060 overbore, safely?

I have L92's with an LS7 block. (441ci)
Dyno #'s are a bit misleading because of the non lock-up trans but she made 536 rwhp and 636 rwtq on the dynojet. (hydraulic set up)
track times in the sig.

He's just an LS3 Block Stroked, I don't know what the Heads are, but it's with a Fast Intake.

I know the guy, I've seen the Engine, and he spins it to 7K+ in that Dyno. It's got a wierd curve on that first pull..

This isn't a LS3 Headed Engine, so I post this assuming we are looking for good Cam/L92/LS3 Head Combos in here, unless it's everything L92/LS3.

I'm sure that anything over 400ci with a decent Cam and L92 Heads, even stock ones at a decent Compression Ratio should pull over 600 NA without a problem.

I figure mine to be around 600 at the Flywheel.
Specs:
Stock L76 Intake
L92 Heads Milled .025, ~66cc Chambers
10.7:1 Compression with Pistons and Felpro #1041 Head Gaskets
Cam: 243/247, .621/.612, 114+3 LSA

It pulls hard to 6500RPM, that's where it drops.

This guy did a lot of work on the L92 setups a while ago. Lots of good info and his car is over 600 at the crank and drives about like stock.

Who's cam are you running?
Do you think the drop at 6500 RPM is due to the intake manifold?

id say it would be the intake on its limit.

It was a Cam spec'd by Patrick G. in the early part of 2007, pretty much one of the first few Cams at the time that was a "Test".

It's one of the few that I have seen that are a close-split Duration.

Yea, I say the Intake is the limiting factor, definately.

We need a stinking street intake for these builds. I'm a little disappointed in how long the FAST runners look in the pics. How about something with 8 inch runners - PLEASE!!!

I am too Ed, I'm hoping to see 550 with mine once I get it back together.
Should be soon as the short block is on it's way back to me. (spun #2 rod bearing at 1700 miles). If I wind up with something over 550 rwhp I'll be VERY happy. The spikes on his dyno sheets really make me wonder WTF is going on.

Do you have ANY feedback on the cam?
Does it do what you think it should do?
Are you satified with the results?
Do you have any close-split vs. wide-split ideas and or comments?
I'm just trying to put a nother L92 combo together with the BEST results that I can possibly get.
Thanks again to all who help/participate.
