Default Cam for torque?

Just recently bought a 2006 TBSS and I am looking for a cam that will give me the best torque I can possibly get out of it. I'm looking more for torque than high rpm horsepower (although that is good too). Suggestions??

I have asked this question my self, and a while ago I found this on Comp cams site:
http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Dy...8HR-10_001.asp

I know there are big differences between the small block and LSx engines,
but the same principles apply.

I would love to have the power of the XR258 grap in the link.

I am sure someone with KNOWLEAGE will step in......

99-TR-CHEATRLS2-CAM Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft
"LS2 CheaTR" - 215/230 .629/.592 117 LSA. Off Idle-6800 RPM Power Band. Broad power range. Works well with stock exhaust manifolds and catalytic converters. Stock like idle. Minor tuning required on automatic transmission cars. Responds very well to nitrous. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Comp 921 Valve Springs are highly recommended.

I've used this cam with great success in heavier vehicles. It gives up nothing over the stock cam and only pulls harder as the revs climb.

Thanks,
Shane

Reading the OP question, it seems like his wants MORE Tq not the same with more Hp.
A 215/230 cam is cetranly not a Tq cam in a 6,0.

Look for a cam like a 206/206 110 lsa, there we are talking Tq for atruck.

short duration and tight LSA will do the job.
