I am also looking for the L92 manifold, for the LSX. Any Idea on pricing or release date?

IIRC it was about $700 for one unported and another $1850 for the cnc'd.

Cary,

Since I don't want to use the cut down elbow, and prefer the wilson ... Hight with the elbow play a large factor in the C5. I have a pretty serious cowl in my hood, but I don't think we could clearance your custom intake.

I would like to see pictures what you have done with a victor jr for the cathedral port & LS7 style head.

Thumbs up

Excellent work Cary.
I've been speaking with Alan Futral of "Futral Motorsports" about this purchase.
Currently, I'm trying to get my poor lil' ole 347ci N/A motor to 10.0's at 3650 lbs.
That venture is almost complete and then I'll be swapping over to build an
LSX 440 Solid Lift Monster. I think your Intake would be a NICE Addition under my VFN Hood.
Not to mention the vast improvements in HP.

Curious about the install...
How much metal and plastic do you need to cut from the cowling?
How far back will it sit?
Are there any issues fitting it under the VFN 3" SS Design Bolt-On Hood?
(With or Without an Elbow?)

You can take this to PM or just leave it out in the open because I'm sure there are others with similiar questions.

Thanks Again Cary for reintroducing your products!

I hear comparisons of this manifold to the gmpp manifolds, but I've searched and can find no dyno charts directly comparing the stock plastic LS7 intake to the gmpp LS7 intake. Does anyone have such a dyo plot? I'm particullarly interested in midrange power. For example does the 4000-6000 gain this manifold gives you over the LS7 gmpp spyder intake, just put you back in line with the stock plastic intake at those lower rpms?

So does that mean that an unported manifold would not give up any torque, anywhere to a stock plastic LS7 manifold on a 427?

The intake is for C5R heads that Cary is working on right now so I used an old block and stock heads just to get an idea of how much clearence I will need.

THe top of the TB is just above the edge of the winshield.

The one with cathedral port heads should be slightly shorter then?

that is correct.

what you are looking at in the pictures from ATV is the tallest of all the manifolds.

Cary,
I'm wanting to purchase your Full CNC'd version intake to sit on top of a set of All Pro LS-2 (Cathedral Port) Heads.
Looking for the Complete unit with Fuel Rails and a 4500 Flange.
Have you checked different methods of installing Direct Port N2O Systems on your intake?

Possible completion timeline after ordering?

BTW,..... Thanks ATV for posting the pics! Really nice setup
