BTW, TFSs. Then spec the cam.
So true. The heads, intake, header combo dictates the cam.

Don't be fooled, L92 heads do suck (compaired to aftermarket) when used with the "Plastic" styled manifolds. But when you use the single plane manifolds, they come alive. Its not the fault of the heads, the problem lies in the "plastic" styled intakes for the L92 Head.

I got 517hp 470tq,402ci ported l92's,stock l76 intake and a small cam 232/236. I had only 200mi on the motor. We think 525 530ish hp will be seen with more miles when I go back this spring. For the money the l92's seem to be ok. Wait ti'll an Intake comes out to match the flow. I think this year I'm going to take my car to a dynojet to see the difference in numbers from the mustang dyno I dynoed 517hp on. Last time I saw a 20hp difference on an old ls1 set up. I went with the l92's because I got my 402ci as a whole package. They do make power because I out run my buds car with his T.F.S heads(383 ci) I have a smaller cam,Non ported l76 and I'm going 10's n/a at 3,700lbs. Are the l92's as good as aftermarket? no,maybe not but money spent between the two and a shitty intake they are not too bad.

You should charge people for this kind of information..

BTW: "That" FAST won't even bolt up to the L92/LS3 heads.

Just don't charge them too much.

This goes to show that if you have no idea what you are talking about then don't post....
