LQ9 6.0L What ci motor to build?
I have been kicking around a few ideas on a new combo for my car.. First I thought about a 414ci, but also thought about just boring it out .60 over and leaving it stock stroke.. The problem is I have a set of Trick Flow 215cnc heads that are pretty new. I thought about selling them but everyone just low balled me on the price of the heads.. I would like to use these heads on the new motor but some people say it's to small for the bigger cube motor but folks also use stock hand ported heads for 408ci motors and they make decent power.. What would be the best option of motor for these heads? Help me out here guys thanks..

No replacement for displacement. Build ya a 402-414" motor (in other words, stay with a 4" crank, and no more) and let it eat. If you think the heads are too small, you can always change em!!! Alot easier to swap heads than to swap bottom ends Build you a solid foundation to work with, and go from there.
Oh yeah, you meant .060 and NOT .60 over
I am sure people will yell because I said no more than a 4" crank. Let em. With the limited deck height of our block, anything more, and you sacrifice reliability with oil control with the piston. Good luck

but for the price, a good rebuilt .060 6.0 works fine
