Ok i was looking at my local chevy house today and saw a badass z71 it was a 2009, and i was shocked when i saw a 6.2 instead of the 5.3 on the sticker
the salesman knew absoluteley nothing about the motor!

from what GM says....the L92 are VVT, the L9H is VVT also. The L9H (L92 going in to the trucks) is flex fuel also...no longer called L92 now called L9H....so L9H = flex fuel L92

maybe where i said, "mike was saying they were going to put it into pickups as well." is a clue that i knew it was going into trucks. it's called reading, up and down, right to left.

Probably the best piece of equipment Ive seen come from the OEMs ever. Variable cam timing. You advance it at the bottom for the most bottom end, slowly start to retard the cam for the best mid range, and retard the cam up top for the best HP.

Its "Having your cake and eating too".

6.2L + 6L90E = I haven't looked under one yet but I'm hoping they come with a 9.5" 14B to replace that 10B weakling...

I'd swap to one of those rears if I could get my hands on one for less than 1500

but the only way you can get the 6.2 is in a crew cab. and it is the max trailer package.

i wish gm would put that motor in the 3/4. i would buy one in a heart beat. but it would be a GMC. not a chevy.
