I guess its all matter of opinion, but I think its way to nice a ride to NOT be driven that much. again, all perception, It wouldnt be worht the money I have into it, for it just to sit...

Im not exactly sure what you were trying to get at...

Im more than willing to race anyone, anytime... (Why else would I run 335 R6s everyday) No need to switch out my "street tires"

Oh and you cant do a build like this working at pizza hut.

Anyway, no offense guys, I have a very different view on how to treat cars. No worries

I made 573 RWHP & 525 TQ ON 91 octane out at lake Elsinore California with a set of cnc'd ls7 heads 405+cfm with a .629 lift 248 252 @ .050 cam 11.1 comp 454 lsx.. I'm think'n should be fairly nasty with a bigger cam little more compression less restrictive exhaust 102 mm Intake instead of the ls7 and retune probably looking at around 620ish with 91-93 oct fairly easy...Check it out .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlv8xqia2Q0

That a pretty sweet setup. but, you would probably get more attention if you made your own thread rather than piggy backing my decrepid thread.

Why on earth would you build a car and let it sit?

They are meant to be driven

Thats exactly my point. I dont see how people can put 10s of thousands of dollars into a car, and not drive the **** out of it... Thats what its for... If its not gonna be driven just get a sixxer and put some LS1 badges on it.

I agree. I think cars should be driven. I just mean that the parts are too expensive to replace if something was to happen. Why not get a car for that many miles that is good on gas and cheap to repair. Just my opinion I know everyone thinks differently.

Yea most people are pretty blown away, but I just dont understand why I would spend money buying and keeping up another car, just so I dont have to spend money on my Trans Am.

Im not in to driving a shitbox car... maybe if I could afford to get an S4 or something for winter, thats about it.

Well, the engine was supposed to come friday... but i guess monday itll be here. Idk whose fault that is...

I spent the last couple days getting the garage ready to start working on the trans am again. organized all the parts ive gathered for the 454...

I just put 12" shocks and new shock towers on the jeep, and I had a few other projects that will have to go on hold. but thats a good thing.
