Yes and no.
I had one of the original TRG-001 boxes. My build is one the earlier types of these conversions, so I was literally begging Lingerfelter for a prototype. They sold me literally the second or third production unit off the line.
It worked well for about 3 years. After that, I had issues with the car hot starting that got worse over time. It eventually got so bad, the car wouldn't start when the ambient temperature was over 85 degrees. I eventually traced the problem to the box.
I called Lingerfelter and asked them about my problem, and asked them if they improved the box as I wanted to buy a new one (the warranty had long since expired). When I gave them the serial number of the old box, they sent me a brand new TRG-002 box free of charge (didn't even pay for shipping). The new box has not let me down, even on 100+ degree days.
In short, the new design box works well, and Lingerfelter stands by their product. I wouldn't hesitate to use another one.
