I am looking for the best timing chain to run in a high RPM motor (above 9,000). Anyone run the CLOYES IRL chain in these conitions?

really there are a few ideal chains. one of which you already expressed interest in. it has been proven, along with a few others, to withstand sustained high rpms over countless hours at a time. the IRL chain. there are only 23 or so left, and once they are gone, that is IT.

 

That chain should do it but I would think the timing chain damper would be a must under that condition.
