Default Katech High Capacity LS7 oil pump - Hard data

Here is some recent data from a comparison we did with our LS7 oil pump vs the stock LS7 pump on identical engines. You're looking at a plot of the oil level in the tank. As you can see, the blue line shows the oil level does not drop as rapidly as you increase rpm as does the stock LS7 pump. This shows that the Katech pump is more efficiently pumping the oil from the engine back into the tank. We all know how important it is to get oil from the pan into the tank.

Will that work with a wet sump LS7?
Probably not, do you offer wet sump pumps with similar data?

The data you're looking at is showing how well the new pump is scavenging. Wet sump systems do not scavenge oil to a tank, so the answer to your question is no.

Have you run similar tests on an ARE pan, Jason? Or is the ARE pan mostly designed to keep oil on the pickup during cornering loads?
