The Head Shop here in Houston did the porting. Sean and Jerry are the techs.

WE are going to use REV valves. When the valves come in the shop will do the valve job. May have even better #s. Its been a long process the car has been down almost a year. This engine should be a torque monster with the L76 intake on it.
Can hardly wait to see how this project turns out. I like the L92/LS3/LS7 style heads as well. Especially for a killer street setup.

My cam came in last week. I ordered it from FTI. The duration is in the 240+ range on the intake and 250+ on the exhaust. The lift is less then I thought it would be. It was ground by Comp. It' s a kit with PAC 1521 springs and Ti retainers. Ed said it will make power from 3800- 6800 RPM and is for a long runner type intake. I'm hoping it will be a torque monster. It should work well with the L76 that I have. Come on Fast 102!!! I really wanted to rev this engine but it looks like that is not going to happen. I began looking at the Vic Jr, but this came is not optimized for it.

The long block is finally finshed. It looks almost like a stock LS1. Now to get it in the car and fire her up. Who wants to help me tune this beast? Thinking of going SD witha NA and a N2O tune.

Oh yea I would like to thank Sean and Jerry at The Head Shop for seeing this project through. It has been a learning experience for all. Give these guys a call for any of your engine building needs.

Its a Summit brand. I think it cost 180.00 . Looks like the TrickFlow one that they sell. It is under driven and SFI approved.
