I dont think it would take that much... I would have thought that thing would make more than 830 NA..
Just for a idea, 6.0L block, 4.100 crank 13.2 to 1, all pro hurricane heads with some port work, solid roller 27x/27x 7xx/7xx 10xlsa cam, out of the box super victor intake shaft mount rockers and all the other good stuff.... Almost 800 horse NA. but My engine builder is pretty proven with NA setups, or nitrous and just about everything else lol... I dont want to give exact numbers just yet.
and its going into a Nova this winter.. small tire car. should be fun with a 250 shot! lol
so with 440 cubes and the right engine builder, I'd say its easy....

if it were me i'd do something like this
LS7 block 4.125 bore
eagle ls7 forged 4.1 stroke crank
callies rods
diamond -2cc pistons
prc cnc LS7 heads with ARP studs
custom cam
port matched GMPP EFI single plane with a 4150 style TB
2"-2 1/8" stepped headers into a 4" collector

If money is no option, ET Canted heads and custom everything else around it them...actually i would bet that setup would be closer to 900fwhp...if done right. It's all about the money and who spec's everything out.

eagle 4.100 crank, 6.125 rods, and wiseco pistons.. after all was said and done they said it was better than some of the other setups they have ran (like a 472 small block chevy) and it made upwards of 800 horse and had a 300 hit on it for a very long time..
AGAIN, with the right engine builders, it can be done..

You'll get there easier with an ITB intake like this guy used. He made 750 RWHP on a chassis dyno, yes, RWHP, and he can drive it daily no problem. It is a 454ci with a 650lift 260 duration @50 on a 114ls on 1.7 ratio cam, 372cfm AFR heads...E85 fuel...600 rpm idle. But you can use race gas.
His tranny obviously gives him ALOT less drivetrain loss than us though.
His Harrop intake made 61 hp over his Wilson sheet metal. Totally streetable as a daily driver.

800 hp is not easy on pump gas but is possible on a big engine with really good heads.
On race gas it's very easy with any number of heads and a moderantely big engine.

Why would it be hard, its been done already. Just can't use a typical plastic intake.
