Default WCCH LS7's

I got a set from Richard @ westcoast + a mamo ported LS7 intake. I really don't remember the total cost but it was around $3300, I think. Call him, he knows his stuff ! I would'nt mind trying the fast 102mm but no good comparisons yet. + lots a dough for that intake !

Richard re CNC's the exhaust yet leaves the intake alone. I polished up the intakes the best I could to get rid of the rouch CNC ing that GM did.

The PRC's are nice too, but I don't think they do anything to the Exh ports?

I've had 0 problems with the heads. Had to drop the engine for a bad lifter n went with the Morels.

I used Harland Sharp LS7 Roller Rockers that bolt right to the factory pedistal. I think they cost + - $650 7.475 pushrods.

I'll Finally get some dyno numbers when I fly home 4 labor day.

Talk to Richard @ WCCH. As stated...he knows his stuff. I have a set of ported LS7s on my build by him. I am very happy with them.

Actually, alot of the power gained by the PRC port work on the LS7's comes from the work on the exhaust side of the head. PRC does both intake and exhaust.

Do You need to change the valve covers to run LS7 heads or can you run LS1 valve covers?

Default Valve Covers

Had to use the Scoggin Dicky 3/4" spacers for the clearance of the Harland Sharp LS7 Rockers. Other then that, all good !! So far no leaks r noise, which is a good thing !!

This should give you an idea of the performance results http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4rBVdM7yjY This is a 427 N/A engine with GM LS7 intake/TB and hydraulic cam running through an A4 transmission. The heads were part of a complete engine that I bought and had rebuilt. I can put you in touch with my engine builder if you are looking to build an engine.

ETP makes good 427 heads but they are expensive and you have to use Jesel rockers for correct alinement's. The Jesel rockers are expensive.

Jesel rockers are only required when running a solid roller camshaft. I am running stock LS7 rockers with my ETP LS7 heads.

Default Exh flow vs PRC n WCCH

According to the info on the PRC heads,

@ 600 lift the PRC flows 235CFM 700 is 246 CFM

@ 600 lift the WCCH flows 244 CFM 700 is 250 CFM

Info from Richard @ WCCH

I don't remember what the Intakes flowed as I can't find my spec sheet.

We've gone well into the 600rwhp range with stock bottom end LS7s & 750+flywheel hp with the LS7 on a street 454 LSx Shortly you'll be able to buy the PRC LS7 head in a thicker ETP casting incase you guys need 6 bolts or thicker decks!!
