WOW, whats with all this shitty work comming out of these shops lately. I mean damn, I know the economy is bad & everyone is tryin to save money but is ****** customers really a viable option for some of these shops? You'd think they would try extra hard not to **** customers so they would spread good word of mouth & bring in more business potientially.

I just dont understand why some of these pencil dicks find it so hard to run a honest company now days.

I'm not saying anything against ERL as I know absolutely nothing about them and have only heard good things up till now.

But you're right.......I can only think of literally 5 builders that I would ever use...and 3 of them are sponsors here, 2 of them are not. But I guess you still never whats gonna happen the day you have an issue.

Its almost like you need to have a 10 page contract with everything detailed in depth and signed by both parties attorneys on video to have total piece of mind.

Sucks.....

Couldnt tell you whats going on now days man. I guess the art of customer service escaped them. I honestly couldn't believe the way I was treated.

I too had heard nothing but good things and was really looking forward to throwing their block in my car. I was gonna go warhawk but many people, including Sponsors, left me PM's saying to go with ERL. Shoulda just went with the warhawk from the get-go and have avoided this mess.

I had an LS-2 that was being opened up/sleeved to a 4.125 bore, 4 inch stroke (callies dragonslayer), and compstar 6.125 rods. It was going to be a 427 and have a ton of boost thrown its way.

Man I hope you get this all worked out in your favor. I know that was a ton of money you spent with them and they should stand behind there product/work. If it doesn't get resolved, I know where I'm not going for motor work...

LOL at the defamation. I'm just stating the facts.

Thanks for pointing me to Steve but I've already got my warhawk in the works. RED does do damn good work though. I would have went to him from the beginning but there was no 6 bolt option offered.

Ya its worked out. I just wanted others to see what kinda stuff ERL was trying to pull. Like I said above, I've got the warhawk in the works and its gonna be sick. Its just a shame I had to go through this. They've now caused me to miss the LSX and Eastcoast Shootouts.

As a moderator, I volunteer my time when I can, where I can. There is no compensation involved with what I do.

There are always two sides to a story like this - I'm genuinely interested to hear from ERL about this.

I can't wait myself. There are always 2 sides to a story. I hope they come on hear and voice their side. The good thing is I have all the emails and pictures to verify my side and will post them if needed. Hopefully my engine builder will chime in here also.

Id like to see a response from ERL too. They are definitely on my list for possible options for a soon to be built motor.

Who told you to go Warhawk to begin with? Honestly guys, Jeremy doesn't spare any expense with his car. This was an unbelievable crock of **** that could have been fixed with good customer service.
