Dunno, from what little I understand they were ground in house. And obviously "custom" ground.

We tore it apart, two cam lobes gone, morel lifters shot, wrong size springs; max lift before coil bind was .70, dummies installed a .73 lift cam, pushrods speak for themselves. It's a situation where I took it to a shop and they outsourced the build to Westech.

The shop has been great helping me track all this stuff down. I figured out the coil bind with a spring micrometer, they discovered the pushrods. The shop is covering this but since Westech was their agent it's up to them to go after Westech.

This is the 2nd time this happened, the first time wiped the LSX block and most of the internals. I paid for that..... I'll deal with that once this thing is put back together correctly. It's in good hands now thank god.

That's the short story.

Damn, good to hear someone is getting things covered by the people involved, which is both the shop and westech's fault.....without having to argue back and forth for months who's at fault.

Hopefully that shop will start using someone else, Westech is pathetic for doing that.

Good customer service by the "shop", bad choice of builder.

Wow, at first I thought they just weren't set evenly at the top. .060 off is a lot. You could look at them and simply tell they are different links. Good luck with getting it back together.
