Current ARP LS head studs do not fit the LS9 due to it's unique size. We had to make this head stud kit up.

X2 I was under the impression that the block was the same as the LS3 but it has oil squirters along with the chamfered skirts for less windage...So ARP studs will work on a LS3 block but not the LS9 block.???

The LS9 uses a unique 12mm head bolt found on no other LS engine. They also have piston squirters, billet main caps, optimized bulkhead windows not found on the LS3.

350$ for a head stud kit is kinda high IMO, but i guess if a guy can spend 130k on a car or 20k on a bare engine, 350$ is chump change

Well, good news on these kits. The response has been pretty good and the volume may be higher than I originally thought. So, we have been able to increase our volume and reduce the cost per piece. We have reduced the retail price to $299.99/set which is the same price as our other head stud kits.

I would contact Richard at WCCH for that. They just finished a program on both the LS9 and LSA heads IIRC.

Availablility on these (bare blocks) looks to be slim to none and slim left town.
Honestly GM has a part number, but there is no price and NO availability.
