Don't know for sure, haven't disassembled it yet. All I know is that there are 2 large holes in the block. Only my second track day with the motor. I'm taking some time off from this hobby

mmm..sorry to hear bud. quite discouraging. Have seen more piston failures create holes in the block vs bottom end though.

does anyone know if the lq9 bottom end is stronger than the ls2??

I get a kick at looking back at these old boost threads and reading people saying that the max with forced induction is less than what people are making NA

I would hesitate pushing it over 600. I think that should be safe, after that you're taking risks.
