Nah not really. Pretty boring. All the expensive R&D was during the boom years. Everyone now wants to get a pay back. Crane, Holley etc going bankrupt tells you why.

The booth at SEMA was smaller than previous years. For GM Performance parts the big push was the new E Rod Emissions legal crate engine program.
They did not bring their typical engine and cylinder head displays.
There were also the LSX 376 and LSX 454 on display.
The parts will (from what I am told) be on display at the PRI show in several weeks.
The LSX LS7 as well as the LSX LS3 heads should be shipping by that time.
Also the tall deck LSX block and LSX DR cylinder heads should be shipping also.
It's very frustrating to have many of these parts developed and not able to deliver. With the situation at GM and the economy many programs were pushed back.
All should be a lot better by the new year.
