Anyone have the Livernois Stage 2 "C" cam? 224/236 117lsa
I cam across these specs the other day and compared them to the GM hightech performance mag. article that tested ten leading cams in an LS3 to see how they all responed under the exact same conditions. All in all the best overall performing cam was the Katech torquer. 224/236 .581 .601 113 LSA.
Livernois has a similar cam the stage 2 "C" with more lift and wider LSA 224/236 .612 117LSA for better idle quality, -4 overlap.
How much will it loose up top going to a 117 LSA AND taking into consideration I am also adding more lift .612 compared to the Katech .581?
Has anyone here used this cam and better yet do you have any idle video clip so I can hear it?
Thanks for the help

that cam looks more similar to the Mast cam, which didn't make good power, not sure y... the wide LSA should make for a wide powerband, just not a huge tq peak...the Lingenfelter cam and Thunder cam r both on 117's and use the same intake lobe, yet the thunder made more tq, and the ling. made more hp...
Its funny you bring that up because I too could not figure out why the Mast cam did not do as well as the others in this comparison. The main difference is the lift which I think is the main reason it did not perform as well not the higher LSA because as you pointed out the GT 11 did just fine on hp and it is a 117 too.
I just ordered a custom cam from EPS with a similar grind(222/234 115lsa +3, the lift on both lobes is in the upper 590"s) with the EPS lobes. This is going in my LS1.
This is a 10 year-old thread and the OP hasn't been on the forum for more than 20 months....
Jus' sayin'....
