Default Has anybody dealt with Gulf coast racing engines?

I just saw an article on them and just wanted to know if anybody has dealt with them? Good or bad.

They say they do Darton sleeve installation also. The big plus is that they are not far away from me.

Dave @ GCRE is currently building my shortblock , really good guy . SAM grad w/ great equipment & employees . They placed 2nd @ the LSX Shootout , look for the thread in the Dyno section . I'm very happy with my decision to go with them . He's smart, friendly, affordable, & NO BS .

There is a lot of guys in the Florida section that have used them, you may get a few more hits in Florida section or the Penscaola thread. I have live not to far from them in Pensacola and never heard a single bad thing about them.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/florida-m...pensacola.html

I know there are threee people in this thread that post almost everyday that have dealt with them,
Best of luck

I'm only 165 miles away compared to most places that would require me shipping off my parts to get built.

I think I will give them a call.

We met David and his crew at the 2009 Shootout, (we placed 3rd to his 2nd), from the little bit of time we spent with him he seems like a very stand up guy (just keep him from the good looking waitresses) If he was closer he would be building our 2010 shootout engine... So if you read this David you better be gettin ready.. The new bullet is coming together

I have had the same problem trying to contact them...the number listed on the website says the service has been disconnected? Not sure if they are changing providers?

I don't want to hi-Jack your post but if you are going to ship the motor to someone I would say Weston Machine.

They don't do all the NHRA Pro Stock car stuff for no reason. He just did all the work on my RHS Block. He is very fair on prices and will not do anything that he doesn't need to.

He is a Snap On Rep now in Florida and they sold the shop. He might still do something on the side every once in a while though here and there but that shop is closed now.
