Very cool, that's one thing I like about my old Firebird, I can hit it pretty hard and it stays together. Fun toy. Can't wait to do the same thing when the track opens, new cam, new intake, roll bar in my future.

Should have some numbers next week. We're in the process of putting it together.

We're swapping drivelines, have to swap over the hardened shaft and trans brace.

so 15k for 600hp? That seems kind of steep.. but, i don't know much about the LS series.

couldn't you run a smaller block with boost to make more power cheaper?

Shawn is this the milder version of your longblocks? I mean is there one that is close to as streetable but setup more for the track that puts out in the 700+ range with TFS or other heads? Have a link to your other combos?

can't compare an n/a combo to a fi combo. For a mild 650 hp COMPLETE engine this is pretty cheap.I don't think you will find a better deal for price, quality and hp anywhere.

not only that,by the time you buy a fi kit,it's not any cheaper.

I havn't had much time lately to get all of our different combos on our website+we come up with new stuff all the time. There is alot of stuff we do have.Right now i got a 427 on the dyno that is making 740hp and 608 ft lbs on pump gas.I think it has a little more left in it.

What are the specs of that 427? Intake, CR, etc...

I've been involved with LS1s for 10 years now and 15k for that package is a steal for what your getting. It may seem like alot but when you factor in the quality and precision of work combined with great products that work well together its a great value. With the precision machine work and the components used in the motor its an easy 100k mile piece.

Some of the things included in the 15k that are "options" from other places...

3/8 hardened pushrods
Melling HV oil pump
Cloyes adjustable timing chain
ARP hardware
Ported FAST 102mm intake
NW cable or electronic throttle body
Fuel injectors
Billet fuel rails
Crank pulley
Water pump
Oil pan
Va Speed cast aluminum valve covers
custom tune

This stuff alone is well over 3k that are standard.

Don't forget the bullet proof Darton sleeves in this build. That alone is 2k or so.

Man, that's a nice setup. Throw on some stock f-body belt drive stuff, paint the intake black, and it's your run of the mill cam and headers stock cube ls1 to the unsuspecting or untrained eye.

Decisions decisions.
