i'm going to warm it up, drive 6 or so miles varying rpm, them i'm given her hell. i've read full throttle puts more pressure on the rings. pressure+fresh hone = perfectly seated rings. found this info on google, guy was talking more about motorcycles but it still applies here

As long as the tune in it is safe for that then go for it. Just be sure the motor's at operating temp dont go by the dash gauge. Thats water temp it takes a bit longer for the ENGINE to reach operating temp. Be safe out there
