prep block for a stroker?

The main journal on factory new LS block are tight and need to be honed to obtain correct bearing clearance.
The bores do not need to be cut (bored) provided not corroded or damaged; torque plate hone will ensure they're straight, have correct wall finish, and will have proper piston/wall clearance. If not honed, you risk oil consumption, detonation leading to low compression.
When we bolt on the torque plate the bores are typically out .001-.003" (on a new LS2 or LS3 block).
Also need to grind a few spots to clear the rods with stroker crank.
