The cia came in today and will be be installed on the goat tonight=-) I wanna clear something up about the arguement going on...when I asked Matt what hp my car would make with my combo he said" we just had a gto put 495rwhp but it had a fast 102 and kooks headers. A stock intake and the smaller headers [B]are going to hold you back."[B] The only thing left is to get the parts, dyno it again, and see where we are at!!! if i'm not around 480-500rwhp, i will think something is wrong...Matt is 480 to 500 rwhp possible with the fast and kooks??? if not what else do i need?![Burnout](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_burnout.gif)

All this talk about not enough air. Has anyone mentioned the 7,000ft density altitude yet?
I know DA makes a HUGE difference on ETs. A stock, expert driven LS2 GTO will see 12.8s in east coast mine shaft air -1000 or lower DA but that same car will go 13.3s out in AZ in +2000 DA.
Would this not effect dyno numbers also?
Of all the searching I've done on here all the H/C/I LS1 Camaros doing 430, 440, 450 "all day" I'd imagine if I took another look they'd all be sea level or lower cars. Same thing on Goat boards. I see 440+whp LS2 GTO combos make 420 or less out where I'm at.
IMO, 417 @ 7,000 foot might be pretty damn good. Bring it down to sea level and dyno it and you might see your 450+
Just my .02c

Nobody has asked yet, and I haven't seen it posted... but is this an A4 car or M6? Stall? Clutch? There are a lot of things that can cause low dyno numbers. You DEFINITLY need a ported FAST and some better headers though.
BTW, I am running the PRC 227's and a custom cam, and on a 95* day, I'm just shy of 500rwhp. My only complaint was how long it took to get the damn heads.

My 347 motor with junkass patriot heads, Ms4, 111LSA, M6, 4:10's, 1-7/8 LT's, TSP TD's, stock Ls6 intake, Ported stock TB made 443/409 on a speed density tune in stl on a dyno jet. So there has to be something holding you back or wrong... Everybody can say the fast is the reason when the car should have made better numbers than that. There is a cam only Ms4 car out of stl that made just a few numbers above that through a M6 in a t/a an the car runs strong an even faster on the bottle! Sounds like you need an intake for the camshaft. Texas speed is the nuts when it comes to F-body's so anything they say goes. John Janns & Matt have done wonders for me and numbers have absolutely nothing to do with how the car runs. I was running door to door with 03 cobras making almost 175HP more than me from a dig shifting WOT with out letting off the throttle on a 275/40/17 MT Et Street on eibach draglaunch springs an a 12 bolt. Goodluck luck man keep investigating you'll find a solution something doesn't sound right to me for sure i think you should check out the tune before anything because some people with long dick you in the *** when they're tuning your car for money to make it look like it's running good enough to drive, but the numbers aren't where they should be.

You're changing a cam instead of swapping out the limiting parts, being the intake and headers? That seems like a waste of money.... You're going to end up with similar results and throw money down the toilet.

I personally don't put much faith in any dyno numbers unless its the same shop with similar conditions. I have had my car dynoed with and without boltons and some shops have me making more power without the full exhaust and ls6 intake.

Obviously this thread illustrates the point that the whole combination of parts need to work together or you'll be limited by your weakest link. If your high flowing heads are choked off at either end then you're killing your engines ability to pump air. Look for the bottle neck and you'll find your problem. It's been said before and I'll say it again, let it breath.
