Best topend for 427 ls3

If i have a 6.2 liter LS3 short block and stroke it to a 418 or 427 whats the best head, cam, and intake i can but on there for the most power? also whats the most compression i want to run on the street (12.1) i think! Thanks aj

TFS235s/Ported FAST/AR 1-7/8 & with 12:1cr and a monster cam id think at least 550rwhp

I would think that would be the best route; TFS 235 or 245's, Fast setup, with 1 7/8's. Depending on how lenient you are, could go up to a Vic Jr intake with carb or 4 barrel TB though.

Yea no carb. I have ls3 top end now but i want to run a nasty cam and you cant do that with the l92/ls3 type heads( i think) lol

if ur willing to go the custom piston route you can run as big of a cam as you want since you can run valve reliefs.

well if i stroke my motor to 418-427 the pistons should have the valve relief in them right?

yeah, and pending what size cam you want to go with you can get custom ones made if the cam is huge.

Carys efi intake and a healthy hyd. roller for the street or soild roller if it will see track and street.

Trick Flow 235 or 245 heads, custom hyd roller(street) or custom solid(track) one of cary's intake manifolds, and a quality set of long tubes.
