Default ls6 heads on a lq4 with flat top pistons

First will 243's fit on a lq4 block with flat top pistons?
Second what kind of power would it make with a stock ls1 intake and 228 236@50 .624 .600 lift cam?

Yes, those heads fit a 6.0L. Are you sure its an LQ4? I dont know of any LQ4s with flat top pistons, the LQ9s have flat tops.

It should make around 350rwhp, add a FAST intake and youll make 25-35hp more. The LS1 intake is TERRIBLE!!!

Agreed, if they are flat-tops and your block is iron then you actually have an LQ9. And yes, the LS6 heads make a nice addition on top of that short-block and with the GM MLS gasket bump your compression up to 10.9:1 (same as the LS2's from the factory).

Does anyone know which head gaskets you are suppose to use? 6.0 LQ4 block with 853 LS1 heads.
I used LQ4 head gaskets, haven't fired the motor yet and one of the heads is leaking antifreeze. Should I have used LS1 head gaskets?

The graphie gaskets are less prone to leaking but you can just go to a dealership and get some stopleak tablets that GM uses. Have never personally done this but have heard of multiple people doing it after a head install and finding that it leaks.

If this is in front of a 6spd youre going to make very close to 400@ the wheels depending on intake.

That's not good advice! On a head with that funky little tab like he probably has, stop leak will not fix it. It must be fixed with the correct gasket!
