That can easily be fixed, question is how much is it gonna cost to be repaired vs. buying a new head?

Too much money, when you consider how cheap new L92 heads are.

300 for the assembled pair is a steal. If I were you id buy them, one new bare casting and a pair of new valves and you're good to go for 600-ish total cost

May be able to find somebody to buy that damaged head off you too to use for porting practice or flycutting

That head is beyond a reasonable repair....reasonable meaning you could expect good (reliable) service after it was fixed.

The quote above however I agree with 100%

smooth it out, re-cut the valve seats, pressure check the head.. and its all good as new.. any decent mechine shop can do all of that for you.

between small labor, and new valves, you might spend around 100.00, thats if you dont know the guy..

Chamber needs to be welded up. It would be couple hundred into that fix.

I'd go with a new head, instead of trying to fix the head. The new LS3 heads assembled are a great for the money.

waste of time and money to fix these. if new heads were 1500 dollars then i'd say yes, but they are not.

Look very close at the first and third pictures, unless it's one hell of an optical illusion, that's two different heads.

Look at the gasket residue left over on the end of the head mounting surface that looks like a "C", it is in each picture, they are the same head.

Look you'll see.
