Coolant blockoff rear of Heads

Default Coolant blockoff rear of Heads

I just need a clear answer on the steamholes on the rear of a my heads,New Camaro Stroker build,The stock L92 heads were blocked off at the back from the factory,Now X headed, turbo, hi hp setup,Do I need to tie these into the front crossover tube or just block'em off like the factory heads were? Thanks in advance...Trying to get this thing done

I am getting the water vapor collection block from kurt Urban. It ties all 4 into 1

I think in a high hp situation it is nessecary

7 and 8 are the hottest, any way to move more coolant around them is a benefit.

Thanks fellows,I'll be making this mod,motors already in the car,guess I'll get another crossover tube from Chevrolet and tie'em together back to front..

This is what we did for my 402 build. Quite easy to do and hopefully it will keep the rear cylinders a bit cooler!!

i thought of this. but then i just conected mine all together. and then back to the rad.

where does kurts leak out at?

It allow you to use an lines to connect to the dist block and then to the radiator.

Yea, We used 3/8's hose and some bent breke line. Hopeflly these Pic's are clear enough.

I didn't even check my TFS 235 but I would imagine the back ports are just blocked off??

only reason i went a different route is where do i mount the little black thing on my ls2 intake. lol. and i bought these. and bought 2 t fittings and 2 elbow fittings and then got braided line and conected them. and looks stock.

Wll the Kurt system will not work with my SC intake so what I am thinking about doing is putting another crossover line like this one on the back my question is: can I just run a line from the front to the back and then "T" these into my coolant system such as into the lower radiator hose or heater hose? or is using the above Wegner fittings a better option?

I am going with two of these and then going to T them together and run a line to my lower radiator hose. Should work fine
