^^^^ this is the only harness i found. is this the one

http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.a...2DKSRH&eq=&Tp=

and if so what did you have to change in your PCM to get it to work?

yeah that would be the harness, it plugs into ls2/ls3 knock sensors and plugs into the ls1 harness. i just really did not want to drill/tap the block for the ls1 knock sensors just to have my headers hit them.

I was going to do the same as you and keep the 10 bolt. I was told that it would last about 10 minutes. It is going to give you a great dyno number. I am envious of your intake.

They are just loosely placed in the block for a more proper placement after the install to make them easier to mount/position. We just put them into 2 holes where they are normally placed. You can put them anywhere you want or even drill a boss out.

You seem to be getting a bit OT for this thread at least. Can you take it to PMs or another thread, so this one will not wander into left field?

I really like the TA girdles. They help the 10 bolt hold up well, to alot more abuse than you would imagine. The stock rear is kinda the luck of the draw really. Some have no problems and some have problems with them on a stock car. I know with this monster in your car, you will find the weak point soon. Who knows, it could be your torque arm before it is your rear!

And just for a clarification CETA usually stands for Collector Edition Trans Am not Commemorate Edition.

Well I have the TA girdle with stud kit. So we will see. I read and heard about some guys making crazy power with the 10 bolt still holding up and they go to the track faithfully. I read that 10 bolts gets grenaded too. However, I do have the SLP adjustable torque arm. I got my suspension worked out when I started modding this car.

My girlfriend has a LS3 block based 427 and a CETA vert....but the motor is in her Z/28lol. Can't wait to see results. Her 427 is topped off with Trick Flow 235's and a ported FAST 90 mm, it will be interesting to see the differences in the top ends.

I know it's been awhile since i posted about my build. Well the small things kept popping up and certain parts that were needed had to be ordered and few trips to summitracing. Anyways, we got all odds and ends sorted out. I got a twin fuel pump setup for my ride. Shout out to Lonnie's performance. Thanks Lonnie. Also, had to upgrade the fuel lines, got a magnafuel regulator, etc and other small things. I went on ahead to upgrade my radiator and my CAI as well. After a few more installations of the autometer guages, transcoolers, and CAI, and other accessories we gonna start it up in a few hours. But I think I might have to work today. I supposed to be off...but oh well. I keep u all posted.

Looking forward to hearing your update! I'm looking at SDPC with my next motor build. I bought my LS2 from them and they are some great guys to deal with! The engine you got is an option I've been looking at for a while. Either way, I want a stroker motor, just trying to figure out which one, lol
