RHS Timing Cover

RHS Timing Cover
RHS block has camshaft raised .388", the cam sensor location needs to be modified if you plan on using front LS2/LS3/LS7 cam sensor location cover. We had cam sensor mounting flange water jetted and weld in place on the cover. Our cover matches same dimensions and sensor depth as factory cover would with .388" raised location.
Have a few available if interested
LS2/3 Timing cover $200
LS7 timing cover $240
Cam sensor flange only $30
Heres pic from machining

I have inquired about this modification before on this board and people have told me that they have built these motors (RHS) without this modification and that the motors run fine. Even if they run, does this become a timing issue if you don't do the modification?

The RHS has cam sensor hole in the back of the block, like an LS1. Its fine to use, will need a LS6 valley cover. Theirs a couple reasons that may not work. If you have an E38 PCM, C6, G8, 2010 Camaro etc. needs different cam sensor signal. Need the 4X cam gear for cam signal.
Just putting an LS2/3 cover on an RHS block, the cam sensor will be off .388", that won't work.
I also just sent a cover to someone with a Harrop 2300 blower, the LS1 cam sensor won't fit.
Then it comes down to which is most cost effective, an LS1 cam sensor, a new valley cover and timing cover, or just installing the proper timing cover and a LS2 cam sensor.
GM had reasons to switch cam sensor design/location, just like how they changed from 24 to 58x crank reluctor.
