DragonSlayer can take some serious abuse, I know some heavy hitters on here have pushed over 2000 on them with no problems. With that said, once you cross the 2,500 make, the Ultra Billet is the answer, due to the center counter weights to reduce strain on the thrust bearing.

What set of rods do you recommened with a dragonslayer ? For the 1,000 hp+ mark.

The Magnum XL, is the same as the Magnum, it is milled differently, for weight reduction. The XL is very popular with Circle Track and Road Racing crowd. In most cases it is around 40-42 pounds on a 4.000 stroke, as apposed to 48 for the standard magnum.
