ls7 are quite a bit longer...I went with 3/8 for stiffness.

The lifters are the same as the ls2.. Your ls2 pushrods will be fine

Ls7 pushrods are not the same as ls2. Bad form guys. The lifters are interchangeable but the pushrods are aproximately .500 longer. This is why it is useless to try and help people on this forum...You guys cannot even READ! Read what the op wrote before you give half-assed advice.

I have used all the lifters interchangeably in ls engines...ls1, ls2, ls7 and the truck lifters are all good...but I disassemble each lifter and make sure they are ok. The same is true for the oil pumps. Lots of disinformation on the internet as most people just pass on what someone else tells them rather than fiquring out themselves. Good luck with build.

Are ls2 and ls7 push rods the same length?
This was the op's question...I cannot read anyone's mind...apparently you stoners can and somehow know that he really did not mean what he asked. If op is using ls7 heads he would need to know that they use longer pushrods. I am sure you guys are right and knew that he really did not mean the question the way it was asked. I give up.
