Default cam swap/ oil pump question

ok i am doing a cam swap on a 20000 mile ls2, was wondering if the stock pump would cut it or just upgrade?

any opinons high volume or pressure or brand ? open to any ideas

Its never a bad idea to swap out the oil pump while you are doing a cam swap since it is right there. Since your motor only has 20,000 miles it would not be required to swap the pumps if you didn't want to. Usually we install the ported ls6 oil pumps on these cars.

How much PSI over stock ls2 oil pump is this one ? 10 pSI ?
