best l76 heads for $2500 or under?
Just as the title says im getting ready to do a convertor and cam on my g8 gt and well if its apart lets do the heads as well. I really am having trouble finding much more than stock gm heads that are slightly warmed over. Who out there makes the best head for 2500 or under? that works on the 4.00in bore of the l76. i can maybe slightly stretch that budget if there is a REALLY good reason to.

the great head hunt continues. called to check on the black labels by the time you get the better springs and lighter valves they are way out of the budget. 3600 bucks. I mean can they really be that good? the procomp factory cnc'd heads are they 15 degree? im still looking. i just have a real tough time giving 2k for factory 700 dollar heads lol.

Hang tight a week or two, we're about to have the first run of PRC aftermarket casting LS3 heads. They'll be well under your target price & be a complete aftermarket casting with smaller runners, big head flow & better p/v!!

Well shoot I just looked at the article I had read about the Mast heads and sure as **** I was wrong. For some reason I had got it in my head that they had CNC ported 0821 castings rather than making their own. Makes me feel better about the price they were asking for them now.

Can you give the details of the heads vs the GM castings? Can I get them bare and untouched and if so how much?
