ls1 crank fit a 6.0?
i just bought a 2002 LQ4 short block with 180,000 miles on it i was going to clean it up with new bearings, hone, new pistion rings and the crank doesnt look bad but i hurd that my 2002 LS1 crank would fit and is the same thing??? is this right??.... figured the ls1 crank only has 60,000 miles on it and is alot cleaner then the lq4... does anyone know or can help me figure this out i tryed looking for info but havent found anything yet..

You need to ensure the truck crank does not have a thicker rear flange than the LS1 did. Certain truck cranks did and that would be problematic!
Other than that, it will be a direct swap.

If you use this consider getting the rotating parts balanced. I suspect the counterweights on the LS1 crank are set up for smaller (lighter) pistons.
On old BBC engines, 396 and 427 cranks had same dimensions but they are not interchangable due to counterweight differences. (427 was 1/8 inch larger bore) I don't know about LS engines but same logic might apply.
