Have you had any issues with your high pressure/volume melling oil pump? How many quarts of oil are you running with your stock oil pan? read of possibly running the oil pan empty. also how long have you been running your pump?
Thanks Raul

I have had my melling for 3 years with the H/p spring in it. NO ISSUES what so ever. I sold my short block for a stroker Ls3 and I will be reusing it. I would always add about an extra 1/2 quart all the time. I loved that at cold start ups you had 55ish lbs of O/p. During runs high rpm pulls it was always steady at around 65ish lbs. I am mostly a street car but I drive it like its meant to be. LOL

Countless builds, countless stock pumps replaced, nearly every h/c package I do mellings HV oil pump with the blue spring. Best pump out IMO. Always run 2 mm above full on the dipstick@cold
