The auto trans is only 83% efficient. You are making approximately 770 HP at the crank.

Great build

Thanks man, I'll say this, and I'm not one to exaggerate, it sure feels that way, for real, wide open throttle from 60 mph to 140 feels amazing...

hope soon, car don't lounge straight, got to work on that, don't want to visit wall,. got not much time to work on it, in the mean time just driving it, have 5/16 inch lift springs from pedders, want to see if they can help, there is a possibility that factory springs rates are not consistent, and causing the prob.

Those springs work awesome with a set of drag bags jammed in them. Solved my wheel hop problem

You did the smart thing sleeving that block beforehand.

I can't blame you, you have a lot of work and money in the mix, ohmmmm, thats a lot of work to change cams that many times, in search of that all so important combo, i done it with great results in the past.

I weighted my car on Monday, and the results are "HEAVY" 3,920 pounds, with 1/2 tank and without me, and the worth part is, that's already without the engine belly pan, spare tire, jack and hitch receiver, so i really don't see this car getting much lighter than 3,700 race weight, if that much.

I do really like to see this combo in a 2,500 pounds car...

Not yet! Car is at shop and the new motor is getting built. Block should be close to complete at the machine shop and most of the parts are in (heads are still on back order).

Enough about my stuff, I don't want to hijack your thread!

If you are going to go with drag bags in those springs, the mazda MPV ones fit perfect, only a little soapy water and some cursing will be required to get them in. Crank them up to about 20psi and they should work great at the track. Drop them down to 5psi to save the kidneys on the street
