LSA Cylinder Head Combustion Chamber Size
Looking for the stock combustion chamber size on the LSA head. I've searched on here and on the internet and haven't found anything definite.

lsa combustion chamber size
I know this is an old thread. I can't remeber where I read it but I think it was superchevy and they stated the LSA\LS9 heads had a 75cc combustion chamber. I think the L92 heads come with a 72cc as cast chamber. The 75cc chambers help lower compression.. Hope this helps......

I would say that given the right intake and tb and cam ,,,,,,,,,,,etc the larger chamber heads will make more power even with lower scr because there is more volume at all positions of the pistons allowing more fuel/air in overall .

They are 68cc as cast, but can be worked on to get a bigger cc.
They are casted with a better material than L92/LS3 heads, and have a slightly thicker deck as well. They are cheaper than L92/LS3 heads too.
Here are mine after I had them hand ported. We took out most of the swirl wing, but left just a bit to help with atomization.

Nice set of cylinder heads! Where can you get them? SDPC had an old thread selling them bare for $220 each. Anytime I look for them I can't find them. The LSA heads are a better casting with solid valves made from a better material to deal with the heat. The wing is there to aid atomization in FI applications.

LSA heads are 356 aluminum compared to 319 aluminum of LS3 heads. They have a "stuffer" in the intake bowl and the farside wall of the bowl is not as well shaped as a LS3 head. Out of the box, I would say LS3 heads are 25-30HP up over a set of LSA heads, ported probably within 10-15HP of each other. One advantage, the rocker bosses have strengthening ribs.
