404 LQ9, TEA Stg2 243, Tqr 2 cam, FAST92/NW92, 1-7/8 Kooks, 3400 245mm stall, Bobby Build 4L60E, Moser 9" 3.75's
usally between 9 to 19mpg - depending on if I'm commuteing or sunday driveing
Low of 8 mpg, after a half dozen 1/4 mile passes
I did get 22mpg all highway... explaination; wife in car, cruise control locked at 62mph most of the time
IMHO, you're going to see a drop with a bigger motor, but if your tunes good and you stay out of the go-peddle, it won't be that bad. Stock LS1 was averageing 20'ish, lid/k&n only.

If your worried about fuel mileage, go with FI, a turbo will add tons of hp and tq with 5-7 lbs of boost which is safe for a stock LS motor and when you keep your foot off of it, you might actually see a 1-2 mpg increase!!!! So there you go, plain, simple and straight!!!
