Looks awesome Roberto!
Do you have to get the intake machined for injectors still? I see the bosses but they do not look machined.
Your old combo is currently bolted down to a Land and Sea dyno, I wired her up Saturday, now just awaiting a date with the tuner. Hoping to fire it this week. hoping to have 97.6% of your success!

Ha... I doubt this engine will have anything for a c5r headed monster with the huge Kinsler, but hopefully it works well in this car.
New All Pro's? Any links?
Thanks, it is a neat car.
FYI: go to ffcars forum to get a clearer picture of true actual cost and labor of a GTM vs. the SLC. The GTM *can* be built for less money if you do not count your labor at all, and do all of the paint and bodywork yourself. If you have the bodywork done for you, you have to add an average of $10k for the GTM kit vs. being able to polish the gelcoat and drive the SLC yourself. And if you wanted to paint the SLC it's going to cost a minimum of 50% less than a GTM would cost. If you were to buy a turnkey from one of the premier GTM builders, vs. having him build a SLC for you, the GTM is more expensive.
Just food for thought: ~200 hours to build a standard SLC vs. 1000+ hours to build a standard GTM. I don't have that kind of time to devote to a project, nor do I have the money to pay someone for 1000+ hours to build one.
The short of it is: look at every project in it's entirety, not just the attractive low entry fee. It costs much more on the back end. (I owned a GTM and got rid of it for the SLC). That said, the GTM is a gorgeous car, and if you have the skills, time, and money, it is a special car. There are some really nice builds out there.
Says the jetsetting tuner to the stars....

Fantastic news, I can't wait to see how much you improve over your old setup. I hope this build at least equals what that combo did. We will see.
I agree with you, but they are on the other side of attractive. I think flat black powdercoating would have done them proper.

**When I mentioned I wasn't happy with the "as cast" All Pro's in a previous post--I was referring to the All Pro VALVE COVERS, not the heads. The heads are works of art.

Great project, love the big CI NA!
Subscribing
I don't actually mind the as cast finish, but its your car of course. Some carbon fibre valve covers would suit the intake nicely

spill it...or pm me. Right now I am resigned to painting them, or sanding them with a DA to give it more of a machined/even finish.

Interesting you said that. I am looking into it. My friend had it done on his FAST manifold. It may be an option if it'll hold up.

Flywheel, clutch, and trans are in (check out the pretty blue axle boots):
